About the event
Come celebrate the season at the Family Joy Market, a free, one-day pop-up where families can “shop” for gifts for their children. Hosted at Hilda Hair Salon in downtown Gainesville, this event is made possible by our generous community members who donated their time and gifts to bring joy, smiles, and togetherness to families in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Donate
We are seeking new or gently used items for children aged 0-18:
- Clothing
- Toys
- Books
- Games
- Art supplies
- Sports equipment

Volunteer
We are seeking volunteers to assist with the event.
- Donation collection, storage, and organization
- Day-of event support (setup, cleanup, and everything in between)
- Outreach and marketing- help promote the event and manage communications
- Volunteer lead- organize and manage volunteers
