RWHP IMMIGRANT HOTLINE
CALL US! 352-575-8024
The hotline can be used to obtain information about local resources, to be connected with legal resources which may be needed by immigrants, and to report local immigration enforcement activities.
The hotline is answered by trained English and Spanish-speaking volunteers and staff. When we receive a call seeking information or recommendations on legal issues, you will be connected with our legal advocate, or with our director if seeking immigration bail assistance.
The hotline is part of our larger, “sanctuary in the streets” program. Although originally envisioned as a means of coordinating peaceful presence at immigration enforcement conflicts, we find that most folks call us not in moments of emergency, but rather seeking information about local programs and resources.
The immigrant hotline is answered from 9am to 5pm daily. Calls received with a voicemail left after hours will be returned the following business day.
